Ingredients
Dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup crushed nuts (optional)
Preparation
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, yeast, and salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbles form.
2️⃣ Add flour and vegetable oil to the mixture. Knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rest for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
3️⃣ Divide the dough into small portions and flatten each piece. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center and carefully seal the edges.
4️⃣ Heat a pan over medium-low heat and add some oil. Place the dough in the pan and press it down slightly with a spatula.
5️⃣ Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
