About Atlanta Koreatown
The local media for Korean food,
culture & community in Atlanta.
We’re a bilingual (English · 한국어) platform covering the Korean businesses, neighborhoods, and stories that make metro Atlanta feel like home — from first-generation restaurateurs in Duluth to second-generation cafe owners in Suwanee.
Our Mission
Two audiences, under one roof.

Editorial Principles
How we cover the community.
- 1. Local over generic.
- We name streets, neighborhoods, and owners. “Duluth” beats “the Atlanta suburbs.” Tangible over abstract.
- 2. Warm over salesy.
- A trusted neighbor, not a tourism brochure. Honest takes, even when they’re inconvenient.
- 3. Bilingual, not translated.
- English and Korean serve different intents. We rewrite — we don’t machine-translate.
- 4. No pay-for-coverage.
- Sponsored stories are always labeled. An ad slot never buys editorial placement.
- 5. Signal over volume.
- We’d rather list 50 restaurants we’d actually eat at than 500 with one-line blurbs.
